With the Black Ferns playing off against the Wallaroos in the Laurie O'Reilly Trophy in Meanjin (Brisbane) during NAIDOC week, rugby union powerhouse and record breaker, Katelyn Vaha'akolo reached out with a touching request.
As a show of respect to Aboriginal and Zenadth Kes people and culture. Katelyn wished to display her support by gifting her teammates Indigenous scrunchies while also ensuring these products come from an Indigenous business.
A beautiful gesture and wonderful game to watch with players and coaching management wearing their KYKOE scrunchies both on and off the field.
