Cosmic Dreams

A captivating artwork which explores the universe through contemporary Indigenous elements. Cosmic Dreams serves as a bridge between traditional knowledge, storytelling and the curiosity of the universe.

The artwork blends colours of moody brown and red with a dark turquoise representing the land beneath it; the place from which stories of what's above us are pass on. Dispersed across the artwork are stars and planets visible to the eye yet still untouched by man-kind with detailed flowing lines woven into the work symbolising the balance between the celestial and natural realms.

Cosmic Dreams invites it viewers to contemplate the vastness of space and time, while grounding them in the timeless teachings of Indigenous astrological knowledge and how through ancestral storytelling it has aided our survival of living off the land and seas since time immemorial.

Printed on 310gsm museum grade smooth cotton rag (paper) using Epson Ultra Chrome Pro inks.

Prints listed are the overall dimension of each selected size available which includes a 35mm white boarder.

Unframed print fulfillment approx. 5 - 10 days from order placement.
